Bougainvillea is a genus of thorny vines, shrubs and trees with spring-like leaves near flowers. This plant species grows from a height of 1 to 12 m (3 to 40 ft.), With a pointy spike with black substance and wax.
Bougainvillea is a relatively pest-free plant, but they may suffer from worms, snails and aphids. Its long, curved branches, the leaves are heart-shaped and the mass of pieces of paper are white, pink, orange, purple, and burgundy. Many cultivars, including multiple and varied flowers, are available.
Many of today's bougainvillea are the result of crossbreeding and today, there are more than 300 species of bougainvillea worldwide. Sangking many because the results of crosses for several generations, it is difficult to identify the origin of each of them.
